I really can't imagine an easy answer to this question, because I don't think I have any item that is "precious" to me. I'm not a materialistic person, so the objects I possess are valuated in the way they are useful to me.
So, the first thing that comes to my mind is my family and friends, but the term is a little rude to express the love that I feel for them. I don't own them, we are together because of the love we have to each other.
Finally, I think of my pets... but, actually I don't possess my cats, they are free to go away if they want to. I think they are part of the family, too.
