Talk review

The video that I bring you today is a small conference that Ken Robinson gave a couple of years ago to Ted Talks. He is an expert in creativity, which is not the same to be a teacher: he helps people to think and develop their innate qualities, and helps them to find a way to hone their skills.

In his conference, he shows how much he knows about education. I have to say he was so clear about what he was talking, he gave good examples, and also, was funny.

About the topic, I think creativity for creativity's sake solves nothing... it needs to be taught and used as a tool. Being creative doesn't put food on the table. Using creativity to solve problems, does.

A well rounded individual, one who can think, be creative, and do productive things, has social skills to get peple to help, and has the confiedence to do so, is the one who is going to go farthest in this world.

What do you think? Do you agree with his assessment of the weaknesses of education?

Thank you for reading.
